Privacy Policy
CargoQuill is local-first. We do not require a CargoQuill account, sell personal information, or use advertising trackers.
1. Scope
This policy explains how CargoQuill, provided by independent developer Jianhui Liu, handles information when you create, import, store, generate, back up, or share trade documents.
2. Information you provide
You may enter business and shipment information such as exporter, consignee and notify-party details; names, addresses and contact details; products, quantities, prices, currencies, Incoterms, payment and bank details; packing, weight, measurement, container and transport data; notes, signatures, logos, and imported files. This information is used to create Packing Lists, Commercial Invoices, Proforma Invoices, Container Lists, and related records.
3. Local storage and iCloud
Your working data is stored on your device. If iCloud is available and enabled, shipment and Business Library data may sync through your private Apple iCloud/CloudKit account. Apple controls that account and its security. CargoQuill never asks for or reads your Apple ID password. You may also create and import manual CargoQuill backup files.
4. Purchases
Payments are processed by Apple through StoreKit. RevenueCat helps validate the purchase and restore Pro access. It may process an anonymous app user identifier, product and transaction identifiers, entitlement status, storefront information, and limited technical diagnostics. CargoQuill does not receive your payment-card details, and shipment or document contents are not sent to RevenueCat.
5. Importing, exporting, and sharing
Supported files are processed to populate records. Generated PDFs and backups remain under your control and leave the app only when you choose a destination through Apple’s document picker or share sheet. The receiving service’s privacy terms then apply.
6. Analytics and tracking
CargoQuill does not include third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, or data-broker sales. Necessary Apple and RevenueCat purchase diagnostics may be used to maintain purchase access and investigate failures.
7. Retention and deletion
Local records remain until you delete them or the app’s local data. Synced records may remain in your private iCloud according to your Apple settings and backups. Exported PDFs and backup files remain wherever you saved them. You can delete records in CargoQuill and manage iCloud data through Apple settings.
8. Security and international processing
We use platform security features and minimize service-side processing, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. Apple or RevenueCat may process purchase or sync data in countries outside yours under their own safeguards.
9. Children
CargoQuill is a business utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through an account service.
10. Your choices and rights
You control the information entered, iCloud availability, exported files, and sharing destinations. Depending on local law, you may have rights concerning personal data handled by service providers. For CargoQuill privacy questions, open a request at CargoQuill Support.
11. Changes
We may update this policy as the app or law changes. The effective date and public version on this page identify the current policy.
CargoQuill 隐私政策
CargoQuill 以本地存储为主，无需注册 CargoQuill 账号，不出售个人信息，也不使用广告追踪器。
1. 信息与用途
你可以录入出口商、收货人、通知方、联系人、地址、商品、数量、价格、币种、贸易术语、付款及银行资料、包装、重量、体积、集装箱、运输、备注、签名、Logo 和导入文件。App 仅用这些资料创建装箱单、商业发票、形式发票、集装箱清单及相关记录。
2. 存储与同步
工作数据保存在设备上。启用 iCloud 后，货件和业务资料库可通过你的私人 Apple iCloud/CloudKit 账号同步。CargoQuill 不会要求或读取 Apple ID 密码。你也可以自行导出和导入备份。
3. 购买信息
付款由 Apple StoreKit 处理；RevenueCat 用于验证购买和恢复 Pro 权益，可能处理匿名 App 用户标识、商品及交易标识、权益状态、商店地区和有限诊断信息。我们不会收到银行卡资料，也不会把货件或单证内容发送给 RevenueCat。
4. 导入、导出与分享
PDF 和备份仅在你通过系统文件选择器或分享菜单主动选择目的地时离开 App。之后适用接收服务的隐私规则。
5. 保留、删除与权利
资料会保留到你删除记录或本地 App 数据为止；iCloud 同步资料及已导出文件由你在对应位置管理。不同地区的用户可能依法享有数据权利。如有隐私问题，请通过 CargoQuill 支持页面联系我们。
6. 安全、儿童与更新
我们使用 iOS 平台安全能力并尽量减少服务端处理，但任何技术都无法保证绝对安全。本 App 面向商业用户，不以儿童为目标。政策更新后会在本页标注新的生效日期。
